Hello! Welcome to my website :-) I’ll jump right into my intro…when you book with David J. Martin Photography, you know you’re getting me, my outgoing personality, and my 15+ years of professional experience. What separates me from some headshot companies is that I’m a one-man-show. Be wary of “headshot studios” that have a team of photographers who simply crank out headshots with a quantity versus quality approach. They may have less technical ability and/or lack the necessary people skills. The photos you see on their website might not necessarily match the individual who will be assigned to photograph you. As with many things in life, you get what you pay for.
I’ve photographed thousands of faces over the years, and faces are the focus on my website. I believe in specialty photography and that’s why I don't display photos of products, pets, babies, weddings, or real estate. Not all photographers are able to capture people looking relaxed and professional. Being photographed is usually nerve-wracking for most people, and it takes the right photographer to bring out the best in you.
I’m located in the Bryant Park/Garment District /Midtown area of New York City. Conveniently located on 38th Street & 6th Avenue, near many businesses - and most subway lines. Grand Central, Penn Station, and Port Authority are within walking distance. I offer company group photography rates and I’m happy to bring my professional lights to your office and give you a studio-experience, on location.
